Originally from Chicago, but raised in NYC and an actor for over 30 years is widely recognized thanks to HOWARD STERN as “Frankie Valli’s Killer, “SALVATORE” the Neapolitan hit man from “The Soprano’s” and “Mario The Calzone Man” on “SEINFELD”.
He has appeared in over 100 TV shows and films (“Unforgettable, Without A Trace, N.Y.P.D. Blue, E.R. and films in Greece(“Ithica: A Sea Apart), Italy (Winner of best supporting actor for “My Brother Jack”), Japan(“iron Maze”), “Cast A Deadly Spell” opposite Julianne Moore and the soon to be released “POET” opposite Lina Dunham (as Allen Ginsberg). Mr. Allas directed last seasons off- broadway smash hit revival of John Patrick Shanley’s “DANNY & THE DEEP BLUE SEA”), and the West COAST premier of “ALL THE WAY” (9 Bay Area Critics nominations)
He is an Associate director of The Beverly Hills Playhouse School in NYC and San Francisco. Also co-director and founder of “ZA ACTING & DIRECTING STUDIOS” @ The Lounge Theatre in Los Angeles, CA.

Story” (L.A.), and the 30th Anniversary production of “Talk Radio” by Eric Bogosian (Mason Street) in S.F.(dir. by Rob Zimmerman).“Danny & The Deep Blue Sea” marks his return home and his “directorial off-broadway debut”. Earlier this year Mr. Allas received critical acclaim for his “highly charged revival in San Francisco of “The Motherf#cker With The Hat” by Stephen Aidly Guirgis, the U.S.A. PREMIERE of “Brilliant Lies” in San Francisco, by Australian playwright, David Williamson. He is co-creator & Artistic Director of “The Firescape Theatre Co (in it’s 4th year), in SF ’s Union Square,
Previous directing credits include: David Mamet’s “Lakeboat:revised”, “Reasons To Be Pretty” by Neil LeBute, & award winning productions in Los Angeles by John Patrick Shanley “Italian-American Reconciliation” (Shanleyfest 2001), and the 1995 Revival of “Savage In Limbo” starring Elizabeth Dennehy, at the “Zephyre Theatre”.
